Chromebook A Laptop for Everyone

Posted by Mariuca on 1/31/2014 to Ultrabook
Chromebook is a laptop which uses as OS the one that was designed by Google, named Chrome OS. This laptop is designed to work mainly when connected to the internet, but there are some applications that work offline, so that you can use it as you like.

Some of its features include, first of all, a fast start, in order for you to get to business as soon as possible. Also, the update feature works in background, and you will be able to use the laptop with no delay or downtime. It has a built-in antivirus and it allows you to set up a guest account or a supervised account, if somebody else wants to use your laptop.

The Chromebook, mainly thought by Google in terms of software, has a little help from the major laptop producers, when talking about hardware. Therefore, we can find a Chromebook with several logos, such as Toshiba, HP, Acer, Samsung, or the small Google Chromebook Pixel. The resolution goes from 11,6 inch up to 14 inch, depending on the manufacturer, and the other hardware specifications are also various, due to the company's preferences. We could say that anyone that wants to buy a Chromebook will find one that suits him the best.

Chromebook came after the idea of a ultrabook, and by doing a small comparison, we can say that the winner can be determined only by the features that you need. Do you need Windows or Chrome OS? Do you want an Intel or Atom processor? Do you want to buy a cheaper laptop? These are some questions which will help you determining if you need to buy a Chromebook or an ultrabook, but the real thing is that they both are pretty new to the market and promise a lot of features for the users.
