Fashion and technology have emerged into an endless corridor of do’s and don’ts. Unlike Romeo and Juliet, fashion and technology for 2012 are finally united in the beauty of fashion matrimony. IPad, IPod, smart phones, and laptops just to name a few, are now in full force and rising with color-coordinated accessories to match. It is no wonder we females have the difficult task of not only matching our handbags with our shoes, now we face the challenge of color coordinating our shoes, handbag, and the housing of our portable office. When I see a passerby who undoubtedly is fashion conscious, I no longer look at the hair and shoes only, oh no. My eyes are automatically drawn to your portfolio.
Those with impeccable taste in clothing and design are also aware that the style of their portfolio is the a la mode of their very essence. Ok, maybe I am being a bit dramatic, but lets just admit it, people will judge you by the way you dress. It's just one of those things you have to accept. I am well aware that what people think is not a definition of who I am on the inside. Then again, this is about being fashion savvy and not about being a fashion misfit. If you are fashion savvy then you can relate to what I am saying.
Home for me is on the go 24/7. I eat out, receive, and make calls while I am out and when taking trips out of town, I just whip out my nook or what a movie on my laptop. Greyhound has made it so you just plug and play. This is the new wave of media.
It really is quite perplexing and since home is on the go, I must find suitable housing for my important documents, phone, wallet, game... you get the picture.
I know I am not alone, even Mr. Lagerfeld said fashion and technology go well together and I agree 110%. For me, the color of my portfolio now dictates what color and style shoes I should wear. Am I doing a leather portfolio iPad case today? Well, let's just some shoes to match!
