The New Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" Tablet from Amazon After last year release, Amazon invested a lot of money and time in the new gadgets they released this year. The new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 inch tablet from Amazon is a much better version of the Kindle Fire HD. Although it costs $379, the 16 GB model, the 8.9 inch has a super high resolution screen and is one of the lightest tablets with this size.

Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 inch is the largest tablet released in 2013 by Amazon. It has a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, quad-core Adreno 330 CPU and you can choose the internal storage from 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.

One of the most impressive specifications is the resolution. The 2.560 x 1.600 pixel resolution has a 339 ppi, and perfect color accuracy (100% sRGB) matching the 2012 tablet from Google Nexus 10. It has a front facing HD camera and also a 8 MP rear camera with electronic image stabilization, LED flash and wide aperture lens.

The life of the battery stands to eleven hours with mixed use, and if you only want to read it will last for seventeen hours. The Mayday button is a new feature that provides free tech support on the device 24x7, 365 days a year and it allows you to download Amazon Prime Instant Video content for offline viewing. Ultra-fast web browsing, a built-in OfficeSuite, E-mail and calendar support for Gmail, Outlook, the dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS makes this the perfect tablet for all those who just want a simple, but at the same time smart toy.

All these features made some gadget lovers compare it with the famous iPad from Apple, and the conclusion they got will amaze you. In some ways the new 8.9 inch tablet from Amazon is one of the best on the market and obviously better than the competition from Apple.
